People have said that Resident Evil died after RE4. There may be some truth to that statement. I've always found it ironic that possibly the best game in the series, and one of the best games in history, ultimately lead to the series downfall. Revelations 1 is different though, it reminds me a bit of RE4. The setting is great too, a dead ship is creepy and we're back in confined spaces. The ooze is a great enemy aswell.

For anyone who has played this game and I won't give away any spoilers but that one boss who used to be a girl (oh yeah you know who I am talking about now) scared the ever living crap out of me because I played that part at night in the complete dark. Also, at the risk of sounding like an idiot, this game was on the 3DS! And yes I do know it is in the title but by the second cut scene I couldn't believe that I was playing on a Nintendo handheld or a Nintendo console at all. I don't care what anyone says those are great graphics for a handheld and although they are not perfect I for one really enjoyed playing a game on a Nintendo console that not only had good gameplay but good graphics to back it up (not to say that all games on Nintendo consoles have bad graphics because that couldn't be further from the truth).

The game took place during this span. The events of RE5 Occured after its DLC Lost in Nightmares which takes place after this game. The ending clearly stated "The had no idea what horrific fate awaits them." And shows the starting scene of "Lost In Nightmares" DLC

Its a port of a 3DS game, so its not going to look cutting edge. I prefer the 3DS version. RER, in Jill's Campaign, combines the best elements of REmake and RE4, and as such is far superior to RE5 and 6.

Good game. Surprised there wasn't coop though(on campaign). Also kind of dumb how they (spoiler) killed off characters like those two weird guys & Parker only to reveal they were alive like ten seconds later. Kind of pointless. Seemed like a cop out and those characters had no purpose in the story after their fake deaths.

@JogBird Probably because Capcom have better things to do with their time..? :) and they, unlike Nintendo, see the benefits of vids such as this and playthroughs on KZbin, as 'advertisements' to viewers for their games. Not many people actually watch an entire walk through of a game unless they had no intention of buying it in the first place. This is a concept Nintendo fail to grasp, but they seem to be losing touch with gamers in general these days..
