I have to say I love them, and I'm not joking. Why do I say this? I can't afford anything else, but in the end, I get to experience these games that I've been watching on KZbin for the first time. I bought the switch in 2017 the day it released. I always get Nintendo because Zelda is my #1 favorite (though I never got WiiU). It's also always cheaper than other systems. I do not have the financial resources to get any other option. When they announced these games on cloud, I was so excited, but then I saw all the hate for the demo. I decided to bite the bullet and try out Village, and I LOVED it. If I want amazing frame rate, I have KZbin's HD button. I am just so excited that I can explore myself without having to watch someone else explore for me. The prices are reasonable, too! RE3 was $30! Basically, I know there are better versions of the same games. Cool. I'm just so grateful that I can experience them now. I hope that makes sense, and I know there are people out there like me. I've had maybe a handful of hiccups in any of the three games released. The worst is input lag, when the camera moves a bit later, but usually a simple pause and unpause gets rid of that. No other complaints. That's amazing understanding how streaming works. I hope this clarifies why people would fork out the $30-40. It beats spending hundreds for other systems by a huge longshot.

If it's all you have it's fine to experience them this way but what's not fine is Capcom's lazy effort when they could have natively ported these over for a true portable experience. Cloud gaming is zero effort, max profit for the company and max risk for the buyer.

Yea i am not buying it for switch, like how much was it 40.- or something? and they have so many warnings before playing AND a warning that IF one day they pull the plug on it, then it's bye bye money ... not a very good move from Nintendo in my opinion.

Switch 2 isn't happening. Everytime a switch 2 is "leaked" every leaker has been proven wrong. The switch and switch lite is following the 3ds, 2ds, new 3ds xl and new 2ds xl release windows . Pretty much one to one

I’ve got resident evil 2 and 3 remakes on the switch and I love them yes while they do have their moments of a crappy frame rate and such it doesn’t bother me that much.

To be honest I don't get why people complain it being a cloud version I mean yeah they could actually port it but so? At the end of the day a game is a game and what's the chance of them pulling the plug? None because no cloud game I had or heard of so far has not done this and Hell my cloud version of Hitman 3 runs Really Smooth so I bought all of them and they all run really smooth.

Cloud sucks because you need a decent internet connection at all times, basically making the Switch no longer portable. They will absolutely pull the plug eventually.

Reguardless of the hate for these, im gonna buy them all monday. I only have a switch to play games on which is fine cause i lovw the switch and that i can take my games with me. And i love Resident evil. Got RE0 for the switch that im gonna play once its finished downloading

it is absolutely false, there is no lag I bought the 4 games. Nintendo specifies each time to have a very good connection to play in the cloud. You have a bad connection or either you didn't buy the games and you just bought the demos. not everyone can afford multiple consoles. You are not the center of the world, people do what they want with their money. If the service closes, well, it will close, we will have a lot of fun

My take is Monster Hunter uses the RE Engine on Switch. So if they wanted to they could of made it happen. RE3 is so short that game could have been slammed on a cartridge with large load times between areas & would work. Look at the XboX One version. If dying light can be ported to Switch. I really do think RE3 remake could be ported. I think with the Switch 2 they will get to release $60 physical copies is why as well they are waiting.

Well I’ve always been wary of cloud games because the company that runs the cloud could delete it and PlayStation just did that so I don’t pay money for cloud games Unless I have one of the people who where able to pirate a cloud game onto a physical disk or chip it’s not worth getting to me and I’m not one of those people who could do that

Thing is they aren't really Switch versions. They are just being streamed to the Switch rather than the Switch actually doing anything. Therefore giving the Switch a bad reputation. I wouldn't of done this if I were Nintendo, Capcom or anyone else

I guess a port of these games would've worked. I mean let's be real The Witcher 3 is a demanding game yet they were able to put it all in a cartridge with all the DLC. These games could have a major downgrade in resolution and graphics and be able to work just fine. It'll take a while as it is actually really difficult to port but with enough love and effort it could actually work

Cloud version means you can't download or own the game, you stream it via an always online internet connection so you must have a strong connection at all times to play.

What? You can't take it anywhere and play it, that's the point. It's cloud only, so you must have a very fast WiFi connection at all times. The graphics won't be bad since it's cloud and being streamed from a server, not the switch itself. You do realise I'm talking about the cloud versions, right? If they ported them for a real Switch release with downgraded graphics they'd be 100x better and actually portable.

They suck because it forces you to have a stable internet connection, so most people will have to play docked only unless you have great wifi and even then that defeats the point of a portable console like the Switch. You can't play these on the bus or traveling etc. it's a lazy effort from Capcom.

Your device doesn't run the game, the game is running on a machine in somewhere else in the world, and that machine's screen is mirrored to switch. That's why you need internet connection. And your connection has to be very good or you might get huge input delay or lag. The problem with this is that one day they might cut off this service, essentialy giving the middle finger to everybody who bought it. I would rather they port the games to switch by lowering graphics so switch can run it smoothly or offer a performance mode and high visual mode. But porting a game would cost more time and money, so they invented this rubbish cloud thing.

Who's the cry baby here? Switch bashing? our entire KZbin channel is dedicated to why the Switch is the BEST console. Capcom releasing cloud versions of new RE games has nothing to do with Nintendo, it's Capcom that are being lazy here. Capcom could easily natively port these RE games to the Switch without the need for Cloud streaming. Cloud streaming completely defeats the object of the Switch being a portable console, having a Cloud game now renders the Switch NON-portable as you're required to have a stable and reliable internet connection at all times. Why are you referring to RE Revelations 2 when that isn't even a Cloud game? That's a native port and runs/plays great.
