I don't see why you would need to use the beat sync in this case... Track A plays at 142BPM, you set Track B at your target BPM (170BPM), bring up the tempo during the break, and before you drop in Track B, you align it (either visually or via your headphones) - and then boom: synced. Bonus style points if you use your headphones only.

@@acidtears you would need to use this if you wanna cue in 170 before. what i do is: start with the track at 150 let's say, i sync the 170 (looped) to 150, then bring up the tempo fader from 150 to 170, and then release the loop. I can't do this without sync, but i use solely for this.

I agree. He completely destroyed the club I last saw him at. Although the great crowd (and the acid) certainly helped, combined with Batu it was honestly the best party experience I’ve ever had.

I used to do this a lot with Traktor when I was playing open format a couple of years ago. Great way to change genres and tempos while keeping the flow of the set!

@@ivnaji EQ at least. Everything was at 12 o' clock when he threw it in. I do that too - but I'm an amateur lmao You'd think that adjusting EQs before throwing a track in would be muscle memory.
