Not a good idea when they can be evacuated. That’s a last resort option.

@@nonamegivenatbirth When they're released, they won't be trapped in corrals, etc. Horses instinctively know to run. They do the same in the wild. They are smart animals.

Santa Ana winds are bad when they really take off with high gusts.

Why does reporter keep talking instead of telling the lady I dont want to hold you up so she can rescue more horses? It was so annoying. These people are stressed out and reporter is making small talk. That really upset me as horse would have been to his new safe place by the time she stopped talking. She could be rescuing next horse. I hope she gets coaching for next disaster. This isn’t the time for chit chat. 😖

Proably not a good idea to have horses and livestock in such a fire prone area.

It's not a fire prone area. It's farm land.

Very nice she cared about the horses, sweet caring soul! God bless her! She’s not from California, no wonder she’s so sweet!

I live 3 miles south of this location with horses on my property. We ALL look out for and care about each other here. We are grateful the fire moved west before it jumped the 118 but are hurting for those in its path.
