No actually, this is the cowherd and the weaver girl, from the legend told of two lovers who only meet once a year on the 7th day of the 7th month in the lunar calender. Their love was forbidden by the heavens, but every year on this day a flock of magpies would form themselves into a bridge to reunite the lovers for a day. This day is known as the Magpie Festival or more popularly known as the Chinese Valentine's Day in the West.

Wow... So sad...n sad as well thst nowadays we cant find love like this...knowing that we only live once...i wonder how it feel to love someone to that extend.. I do live someone but i dont know if i could sacrifice myself without thinking twice...n just let yourself lost in that love...i'm always being realistic.lots of factor to consider...family religion society n if u csn ignore all that n just think about ur love it would be awesome in that sense.. But i couldnt.. Example leave your family behind, the honor of your family n go with the girl u love.. No matter how much i love her..or does it mean i dont lover her enough.. Or when your lover married your brother... Would u forget eveeything n still choose your love n firget all people thats going to get hurt as long as we both love each other.. That doesnt make sense right

Such a story or metaphor just goes to show that whenever you find true love, the universe or God doesn't allow it to last for long, so he ruins it usually, at least for most people. that's why true love doesn't last for most people. the Gods or God or the universe wants us to suffer most of the time, not be in love or bliss. so anytime you get lucky, the universe will ruin it. you can call it murphy's law too, if you want. either way there is some PERVERSE force in the universe that does this. I experienced it too many times and there's no way it can be coincidence. something always gives you the opposite of what you want. the law of attraction works in reverse for most of us. I have countless examples of this.

As a single person, this story does hurt a little as I haven’t found such a person yet, but at the same time I don’t feel ready for such a love as I fear I wouldn’t be a good partner. Plus, single life is actually doing me pretty good, but I always love romantic stories like this, and this music fits so well! Makes me dream of what a life with a love one could be like, but I think it’s best that this is kept to my dreams as reality is far harsher. Still, dreaming is never a bad thing, so I will keep on dreaming. Thanks for the song and the story, keep up the good work.

Each night as the sun gives the sky to the moon and the warm golden day slips into the dark canvas of night, the two souls can meet. Hundreds of years ago, they would walk together through meadows of wonderful wild flowers. Under the lazy sun, melting in the sky. They would run through forests of bamboo that sang as the soft breeze weaved through. And as long nights would draw in, the two lovers would lie under their sparkling galaxy, gazing at the stars that flickered above. At the moon floating in the sky like winters lake. However, as time went on, a restless demon grew jealous of their love and sort to end it. She, a lonely soul couldn't face something so pure and beautiful. To see it walk among her, poison her heart of black, felt like torture. Because as time went on, she had grown to love the boy and the girl, yet the pain of not having it was too great. As each day past by, she could feel her head ache more, her eyes blind and her heart shatter. So in an act of desperation, of evil, she burnt the forest to the ground, watched as the horizon caught alight, as smoke choked the air in heavy black breaths. Collecting the ash of the forest floor, she summoned it to the wind, ordering it to the boy. As the thick bellows of ash rained down on him, he tried to scream but the soot just filled his lungs and drowned his voice. Drenched in the demons own pain he collapsed to the dead earth beneath his feet and in one last suffocated breath, whispered his lovers name. As the wind carried his dying breath in its clutches, it reached the girl, already alarmed by the cloud of ash seeping into the sky. His desperate voice echoed through her mind, screaming through her muscles as she sprinted towards the black void. tears streaming down her cheeks, mixing with the ash that now clung to her pale skin. She wailed a heartbreaking shriek, a desperate plea to the spirits that watched, saddened by their love that ended so tragically. The spirits of the sky, and the earth, having witnessed their blossoming love, angered by the reckless actions of the demon, decided to grant the lovers one last gift; around the girl now sobbing next to his body, began to rise from the charred ground into the air, heaving with smoke. As she flew, she grabbed his lifeless hand, and together they took off. They soared over the charcoal storm, over the forests remains, over the meadow swimming in a sea of flowers and high into the blue of the sky. Leaving the demon to drown in her own cloud of hate. Reaching the top of the world, the soot began to fall from their skin, his lungs filled with fresh spring air, and his eyes opened to her face, streaked with joyous tears. To this day, gifted by the spirits, the lovers sail through the sky like doves, spirits of their own. Eternal, like their love that never ended. I remembered some of my other lives. I know not normal for Americans. But normal is like water it seeks its lowest points to wallow. Ok so in one of my Chinese lives i died early and broke my fathers heart. He so worried about me he asked one of his favorite Dragons to go with me into my next life. Dragons live longer then humans so they can last several life times. But what i do is play good Chinese music to make my Dragon happy. If i meditate while listening to music I can see my Dragon dancing in the sky. So i play his favorite music for him.
