Beautiful finished product! I used to use my knife scraps of wood and other materials in small resin molds and have made some similar items. Yours is much more impressive though! I think I'll try to find a good piece of wood and try these techniques myself! I have a vacuum chamber and all just collecting dust at the moment! Thanks for the inspiration! Duane Kasulka looks like they cut into the wood 5mm deep on all sides and snapped it off to create the splinters. Have seen other artist do this with other hidden wood projects
