Resin Art Crushed glass & Alcohol Ink Embellishments White and Gold

hello Everyone today I'm doing another Gold Drip piece with a new twist. I'm doing a white background using stone coat white base tint to get amazing cells and lacing throughout my piece!
I used Pro Marine resin for this project i like that it sets up faster i find it helps to keep my cells.

Hi there, do you use canvas for your art or MDF boards? I hear the resin will sink canvas in the center as it's too heavy. Any advice? Thanks.

Sha La La La I work on canvas and on cradle boards. To help with canvas you can 1. Spray the back with water and let it dry, this will tighten the canvas. 2. You can use something like poster board to to put on the back of the canvas to help with support. Just make sure it’s not causing raised spots on the front. Good luck hope that helps.

I was wondering what do you put under your canvas to keep it from sinking as the resin is quite heavy question

Charlene Hatter I have pre cut up poster board. First you can spray the back of the canvas with water and let it dry, that will tighten it. Then I layer the poster board on the back that helps a lot. 😁 you can definitely tell the difference in the piece like this that is silver and purple I completely forgot to to the back.
