Each layer dries completely, about 8-12 hours.

The table top is really nice, but a few pointers for the new to resin watching this: NITRILE (not latex) gloves should be worn AT ALL TIMES when you are working with LIQUID resin. Nitrile is far more chemical resistant than latex and non-allergenic. As well as wearing nitrile gloves, a VAPOR mask, NOT a painting mask or surgical mask is a must have. That little air purifier will not filter out hazardous chemical vapors, only particulate matter like dust and pet hair. Speaking of hair, tie it back unless you want it in your resin. Also any hanging necklaces, sleeves, etc. You are working with chemicals that will ruin your clothes. And hair. Use a squeeze bottle or pipette to lay down the gold lines. They also work well to suck up over flow or over pours. Far less frustration. Those legs are something else. Do yourself a favor and buy a STABLE set of legs from IKEA or AMAZON, even TEMU. Based on how shaky the table was, those resin ones will not hold any weight, and when they get warm, they WILL bend.

Are you talking about the very first layer with gold? I take a medium viscosity resin and yes, mine also tried to gather into one mass, I stood for a long time and corrected the lines until the resin became thick, I made the first gold cells for more than two hours... 😅
