Hi Clara - I like this piece but liked it better before the swipies. Anyway, the trays do you need to prep them prior to putting down the resin or are they just natural wood. thanks again for an awesome video.

Thanks so much. Most trays I do prep prior to pouring. These trays in particular I've had no trouble pouring on top without any additional prep.

What did you use to do the swipes? It's very pretty.

Thanks so much. I used strips of freezer paper. Works great.

For how long did you left the colors inside cups before you start mixing them all together in one cup
@ClaraLawrence3 жыл бұрын
Not too long actually and sometimes awhile. Depends on how much resin (single or multiple projects). The resin might sit in the cup while waiting to be used. Just make sure it is not sitting in a large cup or it will speed up the curing process as the resin will start to get hot in large quantities.

again dont u prime with gesso modpodge anything?
@ClaraLawrence3 жыл бұрын
These particular trays have a varnish on them and have been fine with out having to add any additional sealer on them. Other trays, I would test before pouring.

ok i hope this is ok to ask.i see your prices and others after they do a resion piece and what they charge.like i know how much these cost whtn i get them in kmart ect.not sure where u are but im in australia.then how much resion cost and the stuff in it ect.then i look at the price u charge once the said item is complet.i love your work im not questioning your prices.im just stuck at like what to price mine,cause where i live im sure somone would look at that price and say i think not.

Prices are a tricky thing, I would agree. I base mine on experience, skill, supplies and the amount of time that goes into a piece.
