For anyone wondering on what she used at the beginning, to make the molds for the mushroom caps, I'm pretty sure it was thermoplastic. Thermoplastic is a heatable moldable plastic that softens at a fairly low temperature. You can reheat and mold it multiple times.

It is a also called a resin clay, which is beyond me as to why.

Do you know what was used for putting the white dots on the top of the mushrooms? Was that resin or paint or? Many thanks 😊 😊
@magikdust209510 ай бұрын
@rechellethackray it says in the video that she used a "paste clay," which I assume would be like a modelling paste, but she also used acrylic paint for some of the details. Then she covered everything in another layer of UV resin.
Beautiful mushrooms. Your post is relaxing to watch because of the beautiful music you chose. This jazz type of music was used a lot as theme songs in the 1960's in the United States.
The mushroom pins are so cute. I wish that I had some of them.

I love your work and your umbrella episode that you made using Oyumaru to shape umbrella from resin opened up a world of ideas using UV resin. So I have to ask have you ever tried a like the tiniest dab of clear school glue school like "Elmer's clear school glue' mixed in a capful of UV resin ? It thickens it a lot much like dipping resin and adds another dimension to to 3D resin art.

I have never tried that method. Very interesting, I'll have to check it out! Thanks for giving me some new ideas 🥰.

Hey what is that you use at the start the clear looking clay that you put on the pin and use for the mushroom hat? Tried looking in your list but couldn't find it and I need some😎 love your art really cool😎😎

amzn.to/49atR0A Oyumaru is a mysterious plastic clay that softens when placed in hot water over 80 degrees Celsius and can be freely transformed.

I don't understand what is that block of clear stuff that you heated up?
@nelconeco Жыл бұрын
amzn.to/45DOAGS This is resin clay. It becomes soft when heated.
