Bakelite catalin rod made by this process phenol 1 mol formaldehyde 1.5 mol in presence of caustic soda or caustic potash (catalyst) heated in a nickel or stainless steel kettle at 70 to 100°c time duration 10 min to 3 hours. We can add reinforcing material like paper pulp,mica, gypsum etc. Thank you
