Enjoy! I found it took me 2-3 games to "click", just to have an idea what I should be doing. Once that happened everything fell into place.

There is a certain chess puzzle type feel to the game at times, where you're trying to plot a path to take out the mission in the most efficient way, and there are oodles of potential paths you can explore. I've found it very fun.

Excellent play through, looks thoroughly playable and enjoyable game. Have placed my order, cannot wait for June 3rd when I get the postage costs and the game will be on its way. Will just have to keep watching this post until then.

That's awesome, coyi! I'd be very curious to hear how you like it when it arrives. I'm impressed with its depth as well. This was my first look at one of the scenarios, and it's quite a bit different from the core game. With a core game, 8 scenarios, and a campaign game, there's a lot of gameplay in a small package.

It took me a couple of games to get dialed into it. To a degree, you need to play a couple of times poorly before some of the strategies start to emerge. But yeah, lots to like here. It's fast and thought-provoking, and there is a great sense of progression as you figure out how to use the Maquis skills better, and then how to pair Maquis skills for even better synergy. I feel like I have a lot to learn still. :)

@@ZillaBlitz I completely see what you mean but also feel that‘s exactly why it looks so fun to me. This is not something you will immediately good at but you need to figure it out for a while! Really enjoy how you present this series as well, letting us in on your strategy but doing some of the thinking off camera, so it‘s always engaging. Well done! ☺️

@@DragonsAteOurName Thanks for the kinds words! And yes, for sure. I really like it for exactly the reasons you mention. And even after you figure out the maquis and skills, there is the next level of which maquis work well together. There are 1-2 combinations of maquis that can be quite powerful as well. I feel like this is a game I'll come back to for a long while.

Great video just one question you played Marcelenno hidden in attack but you used his plan side...was that allowed? I just got my copy coming.

Yes, what we did there was use him in the attack phase hidden, but we didn't use his plan ability. We just used his hidden attack value.

I have a fairly large list of games I want to make videos for. :) It's a game I'm going to keep playing, so maybe in a few months I'll come back when it starts shipping? Backed this in the first hour on Gamefound. The cost is really low and as it comes from Spain I don’t pay import to the Netherlands and only shipping. Question for you, Zilla. What is the card quality like? If I want to sleeve them, what are the sizes?

Nice! I have a Print & Play prototype, so I can't really speak to the quality of the cards, as I'm sure they'll be different in the published version. The mission and maquis cards are roughly 80mm by 120mm. The enemy cards are roughly 63mm by 89mm (looks like 2.5 inches by 3.5 inches, standard playing card size). Hope this helps!
