It's not just pretty/beautiful women that people try to humble: People try humble SMART women, too. Anytime a woman shows confidence, someone feels the need to drag her down. I also recommend the stone Labradorite. It protects in the same way as your grounding/affirmation/shield exercise. It would work really well for that. Great video!

Was gonna say this! Doesn’t matter if a woman is conventionally attractive or not, they want to humble women, they hate to see women confident, happy, and carefree
@alexissmith8158Ай бұрын
@@Theeg0thiccI feel it lots from women who give to much uncalled for advice, especially when there is envy in the air...like seriously, if i do something a certain way, differently from how other people do it, it most likely means i wanted it that way, it was my choice. Why would someone analize my actions without me asking for it, "give grades" and better options? And then expect for me to appreciate their intervention, sometimes even act hurt when i ignore their bs....With men it is different, they sort of test you, talk out of their a** and if you don't react, they either temporarely shush, leave you alone or they fix it on the spot. Most women keep at it, kinda like waiting for your approval...Dang, girl, i'm not gonna say yes to that, not in a million years!😂😂😂 Much love to anybody reading my rant!❤

I was put through this by women in my family and women at work. But they also tried to slander me and get me fired. I used to have low self esteem because I thought there was something wrong with me for people to constantly treat me so badly. Now looking back I see they were insecure and possibly jealous. I’m getting my confidence back, but it’s taken therapy, coaching, and cutting off just about everyone.

I came back to watch this video after I clocked something a “friend” did recently. 24 hours after I shared something very sensitive concerning my current home, she threw it back in my face in a subtle way. She referred to my home as “tiny and little”. Meanwhile my home is the exact opposite of tiny and little. She made that comment while she was sitting on my chair and enjoying my space. This bit the first time she has tried to make me feel bad about something I willingly shared with her and I think I’ve given enough chances. In that moment I knew I would never share anything personal with her and she would never be invited into my space again.

The people at work are NOT your friends! They are colleagues. Thats it. Keep to yourself and read "Nice Girls Don't Get The Corner Office". This book helped me have confidence in calling out the passive aggressive remarks or micro agressions. Make them uncomfortable! Don't give them wiggle room either. If the dismiss, deflect, devalue or try to minimize, call it out. Why do you feel the need to say something unnecessary? Is that remark appropriate for the workplace? I beg your pardon?! Make them second guess and repeat their unprofessional comments. People tend to think twice about repeating what they said after you sternly ask "I beg your pardon?!" Works for me all the time. Most people like this try to be your best friend! They want to know everything about you, everything. Stay private! It will save your life.

I love this video. What I will add though is that a lot of people don't understand what they're doing. They don't have the self awareness to evaluate their behavior and be aware they are trying to humble you ect. Obviously still look out for yourself and call it out but a lot of people operating from their shadow just can't see it. I also think of you point it out to the right people they'll correct it and grow. Not everyone is built on malice. Usually it's ignorance.

Imagine thinking “this persons existence and energy needs my intervention” it’s so weird. I have been at the receiving end of humbling and those people have been ignored 😊
@trish6116Ай бұрын
Girl this video was so good. I 100% agree, there’s been so so many instances in my life where people have tried to antagonize me to get a reaction out of me and I REFUSE. There is so much power in that and not to mention it’s honestly a rush to see someone get even more flustered bc you’re not feeding into their misery and giving what they want 😊 like I’m winning even more. I used to do a good job at being firm w standing on boundaries but after back to back trauma and abusive relationships it’s not as easy. I feel it in my spirit bc it’s one of the things that can never be taken from me but it’s ok w practice and the things you mentioned in the video I will get there. One day at a time. So thanks again especially for mentioning how repeatedly accepting the same bs will only damage you in the long run, how the brain perceives rejection and pain the same. I love to learn the logic and science behind things, it helps. But self awareness only can take you so far so I must practice. God bless you.

I basically learned the same things that you did; granted, had to watch and read a lot of sources about what you covered in a concise way. This is one of those videos that goes over things that I wish I had found when I was young. At my work place, I've also taught others these things, and told them that you don't need those kinds of people in your life. Life is messy as it is already, you don't need to add more to it. Yesterday my boss humbled me when I was asking for a free day due to overwork last week where I learned some important softwares for work by myselfy improved the working pipeline and had 3 night shifts. It's really the bare minimum I was asking. But he just said: "the free compensation days are only for special occasions. It's normal for everyone to learn aside from their work." None of my colleages dared to reply, because they've never been compensated for their overtime too. The more I learn, the more they try to keep me small and silent. It's frustrating. The only way I see to get out of the situation is to leave asap.

I've tried so hard not to be affected by them, and their toxic mindset and behavior, always trying to intentionally trigger me or make me feel mad, but then I always remember that your environment shapes you identity and beliefs, so I thought back then that if I stay for longer here I will eventually turn like them and I don't want that to happen, I don't want to waste all those years trying to heal myself.
