Question. Good tutorial. So I have successfully resized the width of my thigh pieces. The only thing is I need to take an inch off height wise because I’m 5’6” and I can’t even walk because the thigh pieces are too long and interfere with the knee pieces, and the crotch piece. I want to remove an inch off the top all the way around each thigh piece. But before doing so I have no idea how to re-roll the edges. I seriously match the famous quote of aren’t you too short for a storm trooper. And you’d be surprised that there’s not a single storm trooper outfit available for someone who is actually 5’6”. They’re all made for someone who is 5’9” to 6’2” or whatever.

There's an interesting thread on the FISD forums that you might want to check out: www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/26496-short-trooper-trim-thighs/ Are you looking to get 501st Legion approval? If so I'd also reach out to your local Garrison's GML to start a dialogue with them before you commit to any action. Without seeing the full kit it might also be worth confirming if your shin pieces are too large - as this may impact the length of your thighs. I'd also consider tracing the top edge of your thighs, bringing the edge down a little bit at a time. You should be able to use a compass to do this. When you say "re-roll the edges" do you mean creating a return edge? If so, you don't need one for the top of the thighs - in fact, it'll be more comfortable too. But if you want a return edge, the link above has a tutorial on creating one.
