Got this coming next week to replace my Evora. Fingers crossed this will be the one as I’ve heard good things!

As I say in the video, I can't guarantee it will work for everyone but it is - without doubt - the best full-face mask I've tried, so far. I hope it works for you. Let us know how you get on.

@@CrackingSleep Just finished my third night and I’m very impressed with it. The first night I did an experience a lot of leaks (my AHI was 17 due to this) but after playing with the straps, I’ve managed to get it to work! This mask is infinitely better than the Evora. More comfortable and much easier to put on and take off. As you say, it’s not going to be for everyone, but I can’t recommend it enough!

Glad to hear it is working for you. I'm around 4 months into my test with the F40 now and notice the straps are beginning to stretch a little, so I've only recently experienced some leaks due to this. Adjusting the straps have fixed this for now and it will be interesting to see how long the straps last before needing replaced. I'll do an update whenever this happens.

@@CrackingSleep Interesting, I’ll be keeping an eye on that for sure. Had a much better night last night with my AHI going down to 3 (it’s usually about 5-10 because of how restless I am when I sleep) so it’s definitely much better so far. Keep up the good work mate, I’ve subbed to your channel 👍

Love the comfort of this mask on first night. But i started getting s whistle sound though when i press on front of mask it would stip the whistle sound
@CrackingSleep4 ай бұрын
If the whistle comes from the front of the F40, it could be the hose connection. The mask vents around the hose hole, so expect to feel air in that area but there shouldn't be any whistling. Could the hose connection be loose?

I don’t see anything on here about how you got that stag horn attachment. Because my magnetic straps are so long there’s nothing for the Velcro to attach to.

Hi Cathy, The Stag's Head strap cover is available on Amazon. Depending on where you are in the world, you can find the correct link here: crackingsleep.com/ Could you explain a little more on the problem you are having with the long straps, please? It may help in advising if the Stag's Head will help you or not.

@@CrackingSleep when you attach the staghorn, it looked like you folded the ends over on the bottom straps around your neck. I may have viewed it wrong. What I meant was when I tried to attach the Velcro on the long straps at the neck to the center of the headgear, the straps are so long they run past the center and I have to crisscross them to adhere

Hi Cathy, I'm really keen to help you here and think the best way would be for me to see what the problem is, as it is difficult to make sure I understand it correctly from a written description. Could you please email me at alan@crackingsleep.net and I will setup a zoom call with you? Both understanding your problem fully and making sure you are able to get the most out of the Stag's Head are big priorities for me.

I saw/heard all the hype about this mask I really love to try it although I’m sure 98% it's not for me.

Did you have any leaks when sleeping on your side?
@CrackingSleep7 ай бұрын
Hi, To date, leaks have been minimal. The only ones (or at least the only ones I have noticed) have been just at the corner of my mouth when sleeping on my side. These have been pretty rare and only seem to kick-in during the second half of sleep, so I'm not sure if I'm sometimes twisting the mask on the pillow and this is causing enough movement to create the leak. A quick adjustment to straighten the mask have always been enough to create the seal again. Compared to all other masks I've tried so far, this is still the most reliable, without question. With the F20, which I still use sometimes as I like to test things, I find myself tightening the straps during the night to fix a leak. This can sometimes result in the mask becoming too tight and leaving pressure marks on the bridge of the nose and to each side of my face. I'd really like to see an F20 mask that is as flexible as the new F40 one. I reckon a lot of people would find that a huge improvement. Overall, I still reckon the F40 is worth trying for anyone looking to improve both comfort and air seal. I hope that helps. Cheers, Alan

the reason you have to put it on pillows is because of the smaller tube so my sleep tec tells me.
@CrackingSleep6 ай бұрын
That makes sense, as the F40 uses the smaller diameter hose. However, my settings are controlled by my sleep clinic (despite me having an AutoSet) so changing the setting to Pillows makes no difference to the pressure settings produced by the machine. Thanks for taking the time to let me, and the wider world, know your thinking on this.

@@CrackingSleep so is mine and that’s the setting my provider as well as the manual for the mask said to have it on.
