They actually dont look good from afar(most of them atleast). Most of these burst are straight forward and to the point type The camera angle, choreography and facial animation are the reasons why these burst still look so good despite the little effects being used

I think it's alright, what matters is what you see and how much you can still see in coop. It wouldn't be ideal to have your screen be cluttered when battles get too hectic

What mostly inspired from nahida was Verina's current design, which like u said, was a good change because her old design was bad. And yeah nahida attacks are more technological cuz her theme is wisdom.
