@Branes512 жыл бұрын
That's not a good idea. Exercises are to prepare your vocal chords for singing. Screaming puts too much pressure on them too quickly. If you strain on a note, ignore it, that's your range for now. You can extend it once your throat is warmed up.

If you were a beginner, you'd need a vocal teacher. Teaching you how to sing properly, how to get proper technique and not hurt yourself. Once you got all that down then you can use these videos, what this channel is doing is being a vocal coach, coaching people that already know how to sing properly, have good technique, etc. Unless you have good technique already and not hurt yourself, if you just sing along to these scales and not know what you're doing, you can hurt your voice.

The hardest challenge for a singer is FINDING A PLACE TO PRACTICE where you wont be ridiculed or arrested (well, fined or scolded). Unless you are rich, or live in a remote area, its very difficult for the average apartment dweller in the city. I went to a large cemetary to practice. Took ten minutes for security to ask me to leave.

Jef Olson hey Jeff! Go on amazon and look into Beltbox. It’s a small mask you hold up as you practice to quiet the sound. @@kitty.miracle in the abstract I don't give a shit what they think of my voice. We are packed in like Sardines. Someone complained to the manager, saying " he good and everything. I just don't like that kind of music. The manager is sympathetic, but suggested I sing in the daytime, while the complainer is at work. He works 11-7, so that doesn't help. Just easier to find an alternate spot. Lately I have been vocalizing in an underpass close to the freeway. Good acoustic, and all that can be heard is freeway traffic. The pisser is if I were a country singer, he'd be cool with it. He wears his lack of sophistication and taste proudly, and announced it to the world! She has a nice mix and has a strong lower range for a soprano; she moves her jaw when she does riffs and runs meaning that she is causing herself to have jaw and tongue tension and you can hear it because her diction isn't very clear. Also, she has a high larynx. Overall, yes she is; don't move your jaw like her and make sure that your larynx isn't high like that. Hope I helped! :)

I’ve been doing your exercises consistently for about a year now and came to a plateau in about September. I thought I was never going to have a decent voice but yesterday I discovered how to tilt my larynx and my voice actually sounded good! Now you got me focusing vocal resonance for my newly discovered technique.🎉

It is normal, but try to control the high notes from your diaphragm, practice it because then your voice will be stronger, hope this helped :)

Make a warm up to reduce jaw tension while singing please :(((((
@kingwillie2067 жыл бұрын
Elixir - Want a relaxed jaw? After a short massage, let your jaw hang, clamp you hands together with your elbows at your sides, and shake your arms rapidly as if you attempting to stab a rabid dog on the attack. If done correctly, you should feel your jaw moving freely in a totally relaxed fashion. Shout out to Verba Vocal for teaching me that extremely helpful technique.

I started practising my singing voice in 2010 and have been expanding my range, ameliorated my pitch and am able to hold long notes. All this I have done, because I wanted to learn singing just as my grand-father. Now, I feel that I am stuck and do not learn new things. I do not know what to do with my voice. Does anyone have got an inspiration? Cheers Thau
@adrianfox75357 жыл бұрын
Keep working on the stuff you want to improve in your voice. If you feel like you're not that good with belting then practice belting! If you feel like you are weak with head voice then work on it. You're never done with your voice and can find new ways to use it as you improve. :)
@Thaulopi7 жыл бұрын
I could learn all that, but what for? This world does not inspire me to sing.

Personally my dream is to play Christine at least once in a Phantom of the Opera production. Maybe you just need to set a goal like that. Is there some musical or something you want a role in? How about a record you want to beat? Just find yourself a goal to work towards. Try winning x-factor or something.
@marcuscameron82747 жыл бұрын
AnimeBunny same. My dream is to be The Phantom or Valjean in Les Miserables. Goal in mind, I would never have progressed without it 😄
