It's a very nice mod. I'm so glad I deleted the resonator. It's not too loud, just right. It sounds amazing without being annoyingly loud all the time.

Love you car and mods. Where did you get the splitters for the exhaust tips?

Thank you so much!! I took a 1/4 inch stainless steel bar and cut it to size at an angle, and welded it on the opening at angle to follow the lines of the tip and the car rear.

An alternate way is to use JBWeld to attach. Just make sure to do a clean installation where you use just enough JBWeld for it to not protrude. ...you can sand it flat if that's the case.

Thank you. Maybe in UK but not in USA as long decibels arent over a certain number.

Really nice ! I expect to do the same on mine with EU specs. Does the sound becomes a bit louder compare to stock or only the tone is modified ?? Thanks

Have you noticed any drone at freeway speeds or cruising? I want to do this but don’t want it to be annoying in the cabin

@ShattuckEsteban no droning, just sweet deep sound. Plus, you can switch to Eco or Comfort mode if you want quiet. Really, it's not that loud.

It's resonator delete but with also Downpipe. Original cannot be loud like this with only resonator out.

@Chaletjohan-wo4ke t I appreciate your input. I'm keeping the Downpipe. It would be too loud for my liking. My son has the M240i stage 2 with Downpipe free flow and resonator delete. It sound louder with a much more hollow sound.
