This was such a nice evening! I loved the strolling and seeing AK at night. Awakenings was beautiful! I'm sad that we couldn't get back to Dinoland one more time before it closed - our kids loved that area when they were little- but thank you for virtually taking me one more time! Even with the crowds, it was a tranquil Saturday evening! 🤗

31:59 Exactly, as high as 30% of the world’s animal species are found in the Amazon Rainforest, let alone the rest of what could be considered the “tropical Americas.” So as far as lots of great options for animal exhibits it’s kinda perfect. Especially considering Africa and Asia are the other two big sections so it fits with the geographic section precedent better than Dinoland ever did. As to the IP, while I do think Disney overdoes cramming IP into everything lately, Encanto is not the worst fit. The movie is set in Columbia, also don’t forget Antonio’s gift is to talk to animals. So that part makes sense to me. Indiana Jones I agree is a bit more of a stretch. I think execution will be everything on that. Indiana Jones is largely about the search for lost and forgotten ruins and treasures. Real archeologists uncover more ruins of ancient civilizations that have been consumed by the Amazon and forgotten by time every year. So it isn’t a terrible idea in theory. They also already have the ride system, so a retheme is practical. I will hope for the best and wait and see. If they do a good job it’ll be brilliant. If they blow it, it’ll be a disaster.
