My father used to say the entire saying. You're a gentleman and a scholar, quick thinker, man of large parts and deep penetration.

Theyre out there for sure. But in my line of law, theyre often pushing charges they should not have to begin with. Usually to keep some law enforcement out of Federal Court.

That is our job- persuasion. And if you can't persuade the prosecutor you better persuade those sitting in the box or the one with the black robe on. If the charges don't fit, I convince them and if not then I file my motion and the judge tells them they are wrong. I agree that I have had some bad prosecutors ( if only I could shout out the names) but the overwhelming majority have been solid people.

You’ve got to know when to be aggressive and gung ho and when not to be. Definitely a time and a place.

My issues with Prosecutors is they aren't held accountable. Just about in every other aspect of life, if you go after someone to ruin them and fail you suffer consequences. Prosecutors even when they lose, they'd destroyed someone's life all the same.

I think the term "ruining life" is too often used. To play devils advocate here: you are charged with a crime and then found innocent or the charges are dropped. You have lost time and money and endured stress but exactly how is your life ruined? Its a closed chapter. I hear it all the time.
