Are this 36/38 ka jhamela is due to malate shuttle and glycerate shuttle is malate shuttle take nadh2 with it it gives the ets as it is but if glycerate shuttle carrys adh2 it converts it into fadh2 and hense isi vajah se 36/38 rehta he

in q38 the ans is correct which is 36 ATP but according to ncert pg 234 it should be 38

Net gain 36 bez 2 ATP use in glycolysis

@@solo1596 DURING GLYCOLYSIS:) ●there are 4 Atps ...2 are used so NET GAIN is of 2 Atp ●now 2 NADPH+ are formed in glycolysis .& 1 NADPH+ gives 3 atp during ETs .so---)2×3 = 6 atp ■hence there are 10 atps ●NOW ,DURING PYRUVIC DECARBOXYLATION:) 2pyruvic acid gives 2 NADPH+ Hence 2×3= 6atps ●NOW IN KREBS CYCLE:) there are 3 NADPH+ FROM 1 pyruvic acid ...as there are 2 molecules of pyruvic acid .so total NADPH+ = 6 Now total atp from these 6 NADPH+=3×6=18 ATPS ●in krebs cycle there are 2FADH+ formed from 2 pyruvic acid ..1FADH gives 2ATP SO 2 WILL GIVE 4 ATPS ●there are also.2GTPS ..that gives 2 atp ■HENCE TOTAL ATPS IN KREBS CYCLE (INCLUDING THAT OF PYRUVIC DECARBOXYLATION)= 30Atps ■ 8 atps are from glycolysis ♤♤TOTAL = 30+8=38ATPS ( BY SUBTRACTING THE 2 USED IN GLYCOLYSIS)
