Rupal Totale Is gross a type of net gain only ??
@rachelthompson-h2y8 жыл бұрын
net gain is how much is produced- how much is used up. Gross gain is how much is produced

gross is the total amount, discluding the amount lost, net gain is the amount gained minus the amount lost

Thank you, Mam. This pathway is for animals, not for plants. But in plants, sucrose is the starting point rather than glucose in glycolysis. Because sucrose is the major translocated sugar in most plants and is, therefore, the form of carbon that most non-photosynthetic tissues import, sucrose (not glucose) can be argued to be a true sugar substrate for plant glycolysis. Also, the end product of plant glycolysis includes another organic acid, malate. Therefore, the net yield of ATP in the glycolysis process is 4, and 4 NADH in the plants.

When the fructose6P breaks in two isomers the formula is halved i.e C3H6O3 for glyceraldehyde3P and after that in the step when it is oxidized (gave 2 Hydrogen) the formula will be C3H4O3 then after in the step when Phosphophenol Pyruvate is formed by giving H20 the formula becomes C3H2O2 then after it is converted into pyruic acid but the formula for pyruic acid is C3H4O3 then how it is possible..
