Responding To Jealousy And Hatred | Sathya Sai | Vivekananda | Yesudas

The fruit laden tree will always receive stones! Therefore, one of the surest ways of knowing that you are achieving in life is to count the number of stones being pelted at you! But such situations definitely put you under tremendous stress and strain. How to handle such pressure? How to vent out the feelings and negative energy that gets built up within as a result of being at the receiving end of unfair criticism, jealousy and hatred?
Sri Sathya Sai Baba asked a simple question and provided a wonderful piece of advice to a youngster which is sure to inspire us. There are also examples like Swami Vivekananda and Sri Yesudas that have done exactly this to become inspirational and aspirational personalities themselves.

I like to imagine that all humans have a love-gauge along their spine. If the level of that gauge is too low,no love will be distributed. People who are not loving,are in need of a refill or increase of love. To me,those who hurt are those who really suffer. We should not put acid in their wounds but love them more instead. If needed,we can stay at a distance but still be near. There are for sure many ways to provide love and do the good. For exemple,the power and magic of praying. So yes,I want to be part of your bunch of grapes... 😊
