Berra being unlikable is nothing new. Back in the early '90s, while on tour with World Industries, he got punched in the face by teammate Jovontae Turner, because he was fed up with Steve. Then a couple years later, while on tour with Birdhouse (the first time he rode for them) his teammates hated him, called him a crybaby because he complained about everything, and tormented him until he quit mid-tour. There is that saying, "if everywhere you go, you keep meeting a-holes, maybe it is you who are the a-hole." Three decades of people consistently forming the same negative opinion of a person is pretty good proof.

He's the reason Alex Mizurov's career was derailed. He and Sewa were up and coming skaters in the late 2000's and both looking to pick up U.S Sponsors and interviews with american skate mags but after Alex and Steve got into a passive aggresive dick match during BATB4 Alex was never invited back again and apparently he pulled strings to have Alex banned from Street League. Alex has never gotten the spotlight he deserves cause of how much power Steve has.

berras 'the end' part was amazing to me at the time. he had a warehouse skatepark back in the 90's and invited others to skate it way before it was profitable. those skaters are a different breed it was pure heart. berra is far from the greatest example of that generation of skaters but he is apart of it no matter what anyone says.
