Sadly my neighbour hate cats.. I dnt knw what to do. I'm take care my cats good but every time I feed my cat.. Stray cats heard it and they came near my gate asked for food. My neighbours warn me. Told me don't feed stray cats. 😢

my landlord used to hate cats but i still fed them anyways, id get extra food for cats at the dollar store and give them bones/leftover food. you get good deeds insh a Allah. ur neighbor has a right to their opinion but it shouldn't dictate what you can do for the strays :) may Allah swt soften anyone who hates cats/animals ameen

OomeBien ask him why he feels that way, not with the intention of changing his mind, but understanding his mind with kindness. And after that, your mind may be changed, or at least your compassion for him may help him find his compassion for cats. You can then share what motivates you to want to feed the, and perhaps a compromise can be found.

it is not permissible to kill an animal for fun sake and sport! you only kill it for consumption. (only if you will eat it) beside that, it is totally haram!

@@luxus1243 Yes InsAllah I do.As there is a proverb "Practise what you preach".Today I am stuggling financially since I have no source of earning.Following Islamic prohibition,I have quit high paying job in a Bank/NBFC(Since it deals with interest).I have become a joke when people hear about it.My only sister who passed away on 29.02.2020 never listened to me when I use to coax her for her adornment of western dress.I even tried to put "The HOLY QURAN" near her in the hospital.She did not accept it.Wondering how I can influence people.People today have mostly become materialistic.

I agree that humans need to consume to survive.. but we all know we can survive without consuming our amazing animals.. I am a vegan and am surviving just fine.. Halal or no Halal is all the same (to me): that is taking away an animals life - the life that they all deserve to live. It is true that some parts of the world may not have all vegetables and fruits they need to survive, and that's where we should put our thoughts together and trade worldwide without war. Also, we should not think that we are better than animals. Every animal has its own world and I doubt we know much about that world. We struggle to find cures for a simple cold virus, yet we are so confident we know all about animals and that we are better than them. My dear friends, killing is killing. Wether its done halal or not halal does not make it fair. By killing an animal in whatever way, we are taking away their chance to experience life and the beautiful earth!

Milad IB I am not going to act like I know better than my Lord. He knows all His creations - their good and bad, their purpose towards other creations, their virtues, their shortcomings, and much more. If He has made something permissible for me, then I can’t make it forbidden upon myself. If He has made something forbidden for me, then I can’t make it permissible upon myself. I’m unsure if you’re Muslim but if you are, then be careful not to twist His laws. If you’re vegan for health reasons, then fine. But if it’s because you deem it killing and because of that it’s wrong, then I think you’re making something forbidden which Allah has made permissible. Allah knows what is right and what is wrong because He is the Supreme Law. And how can we know what is right and what is wrong? Read the Qur’an. And if we’re still adamant that something is wrong when the Qur’an says it is right, then we have denied the truth of the Qur’an. And then we’d have become disbelievers.

Mer S. My friend, I believe in love for all God’s creatures! Taking away life from any living creatures is not morally right! The moment an animal knows it is going to be killed, it is afraid, it tries to run away. Why is the animal not calm when it’s being killed? Why is it scared? Killing is killing. It is taking away the right of LIFE! We can survive and live a very healthy life being vegan (a book called China Study which talks about this point in detail). Can you let go of the yummy meat u eat? Or the delicious cakes/desserts made of up of dairy? I challenge u to do that for 6 month! If you can easily do that, you will find out your body is designed to be more healthy and active without meat (I run 4K everyday). 15 mins of enjoying a great meal is not worth taking a life! The cows have feelings, they fall in love, they play, they sing! Animals enjoy life as much as (if not more) than humans. There are alternatives my friend which don’t involve blood. If we want to stop war and killing of people, we need to start by protecting the weak! Our amazing animals and the earth! I told my self one day: Be brave, for once slaughter the animal (in a halal way), Yourself.. then I thought I would feel very guilty!

Stephanie Rideout I’m sorry you had hard time. Being vegan is very healthy, and almost anything I touch has iron in it. So I think your diet may have been very limited in terms of beans/legumes. I do recommend reading a book called “China Study” it’s a great book on diet.

Its not about whether the animal feels pain or not. Sure, lets say they feel absolutely no pain. But their chance of living a beautiful life is destroyed. What if just like humans, they have a family, they have loved ones. Their family would suffer the pain of seeing them go away to a slaughter house!

Animals don't have families, cows mate different partner every mating season. Their calfs leave them after 6-7 years never to meet again. The concept of family is in Humans. And as for the chance of seeing the world, we don't slaughter calves, we only slaughter adult animals of certain age so that they can see the world.☺️

However, now my thinking is different: "15-20 mins of me enjoying a super good steak, is not worth a Cow's life (that's 18-20 years!)). All that aside, I believe every Human has a choice.
