My wife and I have lived in Solivita for 17 years. We love the lifestyle and the community. Wouldn't think of living anywhere else.

Thanks for doing that. I appreciate it. Solivita is still on our list of potential places to retire, along with TV. But still other places and states to check out before we make a final decision.

Lotsa curb appeal but it appears to be The Villages "Lite"? Very informative -- gracias! 👍👍
@ResslerMania3 жыл бұрын
Thank you Gringo Loco so very much for watching our video and taking time to comment. We really appreciate that. Unfortunately I only had about an hour to video things there so I did not have time to get shots of everything I wanted like the inside pool, the 14 outside pools, the 2 story indoor running track, etc. I was on a timeline to get to the villages to meet Skip for lunch. It was also way too windy to safely fly my drone so I did not get any skyward shots. Stay tuned for TV videos coming out soon. Hopefully they will turn out ok. My full time job is a bit overwhelming at the moment but my plan is to have a new video out weekly. Have a GREAT Day.

Is there an active busy pickleball community there with many courts? How many courts on property?
@ResslerMania Жыл бұрын
Thank you Rhonda Bovine so very much for watching our video and taking time to comment. We really appreciate that. I was only there a few hours one day so I could not video a lot of the area. However, yes, they do indeed have an active pickelball community there. There is a video that talks about Pickleball in more detail from a realtor so it is on the more bias side but seems to be accurate. You can find that video here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aHmqZ3SDlr6Fq7s Just do me a big favor and let her know ResslerMania sent you. :-) Hope this helps. Have a GREAT Day.

Sounds like you're going to be moving in there or at least use it as a vacation home, Looks like a lovely place with plenty to do.

HaHa. This is only ONE possible place we MIGHT move to. Another place we are thinking about is The Villages. I will start a series of videos on THAT place this Friday. Of course, another option is to just stay were we are. Lots of options.

Thank you Al Pepitone so very much for watching our video and taking time to comment. We really appreciate that. I did not see a club or official trip posted at the time I was there but I would be they do. That is a question you can ask if you do a tour like we did. They are very nice people and not very hard sell. Have a GREAT Day.

Is it truly gated with limited access or push button arms like we have here in TV?
@ResslerMania3 жыл бұрын
Thank you David Dempsey so very much for watching our video and taking time to comment. We really appreciate that. At the beginning of the video I explain the procedure to enter the community. No, there is no red button to push that I saw, the gate guard had to let me in after I completed the entry procedure. Hope this answers your question. Have a GREAT Day.

Any idea how much the HOA and golf memberships cost?
@ResslerMania3 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much for watching and commenting. I really appreciate that. I am sorry but even though they told me those things I did not notate them or put in the video because they tend to change over time. This video was meant as an overall introduction. Again my apologies for not having those specifics.

Villages lite?
@ResslerMania Жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching and commenting. I thought the same thing until I visited. Solivita is definitely a lot smaller than the Villages but has most of the key elements like being an active adult community, golf cart community, etc. In addition it is a true gated community that is still growing. So no, not really The Villages lite. At least from what I saw and experienced.

whats the hoa and what does it cover
@ResslerMania2 жыл бұрын
Thank you mike dee so very much for watching our video and taking time to comment. We really appreciate that. Things change all the time and I am not a realtor so unsure of all the tiny details. There is a reator youtube channel I like that does not push the sale, they just like to entertain. It is called 55Plus. They have a decent comparison video on HOAs that includes Solivita at kzbin.info/www/bejne/pmK8aKRnd5eqopI They also have a lot of Solivita specific videos you may be interested in. Let them know ResslerMania sent you. :-) Hope this helps. Have a GREAT Day.

Do they havr hoa fees?
@ResslerMania2 жыл бұрын
Thank you Lynn Hartley so very much for watching our video and taking time to comment. We really appreciate that. ALL of the "ACTIVE" adult communities in Florida that I looked at either have an HOA or CCD fee. HOA fees seem to change a lot over time so I do not have the most up to date information. Ira Miller might be able to help you. Although his latest HOA prices video does not include Solivita, I am sure he can get the most up to date cost for you. His great HOA fees video is HERE if you are interested: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nWTWnZainbuFl7c . Hope this helps. Have a GREAT Day.

They don’t tell you about the Negativity that it is overcrowded and most clubs are full and so are the amenities and how the management company treats you pretty bad

Thanks for your insight. I was there in the summer and it was not busy at all. I suppose you are referring to when the snowbirds are back. How long have you been in Solivita? Did it get more crowded as time went on or did the second recreational area alleviate most of the winter congestion? Your first hand insight of Solivita would be very helpful. Thanks
