My favorite eternal security / assurance verse is Ephesians Ch 1 verse 13. It tells you from "when" until "when." Having heard the salvation gospel (1 Co 15:3-4) concerning salvation, having believed it for salvation, you were sealed (past tense) until complete redemption (future). From a specific point in the past, until a specific point in the future, you have God's downpayment, the Holy Spirit. Doesn't matter if you feel it.

A Barna pole (Survey) was taken showing that 80% of Christians are living under a legalistic performance base belief system ...we welcome you to the 20% of those that are living within the true gospel ...without all the religious double talk and ABSOLUTELY Andrew Farley is one of our favorites teaching THIS. I'm so glad you're joining in. "God bless"

Excellent message, as usual. I love that he brought up Scrupulosity. What he's talking about is Scrupulosity OCD. It is a theme underneath the umbrella of OCD (those who have OCD usually have a specific "theme" of OCD, such as harm, sexuality, or cleanliness - it is different for every OCD sufferer) that has to do with religiosity and/or morality and it is an obsessiveness beyond just questioning like "normal" people do. I have OCD and Scrupulosity is one of my themes as well. I have two main themes in my OCD. OCD is not just "I like symmetry" or "I really like a clean car", etc. It is life consuming and can be managed through good counseling and possibly medication for some. 💜 If you suffer, don't be afraid to reach out for help!! 😊

Andrew: Amen Amen and Amen! God makes no mistakes, when He makes us His children we are perfect forever, why? Because He made us a new creation. This message is crucial in today’s world full of confusion. I thank God that my salvation rest in His life not mine, without Him “we fall limp and dead”-love it! This salvation plan is God’s doing not ours! Hebrews 10:14 John 20:28

Does not Satan and His Angel's not know Jesus is Lord? I heard Hussain Obama once say Jesus is Lord but then I also heard him talk about the "Holy Koran" and the most beautiful sound in the world was the call to Muslim prayer. Explain that please... if not for me then how bout for others.

Well I think they mean when the person genuinely proclaims it in their heart that Jesus is Lord. If someone genuinely proclaims that Jesus is Lord, they will submit themselves to Jesus. It's one thing to acknowledge that Jesus is God and has all power, but it's another thing for someone to acknowledge Jesus is Lord over them and they want to willfully submit to Him in humility and love. Just my opinion.

They know who he is but they just don't believe they don't want him to be there savior. Knowing who he is does not mean that they believe him for salvation for themselves
@dgarnush5 жыл бұрын
@Andrew Farley Ministries Andrew I like you and your message of Grace and I fully agree, but about loosing salvation you are wrong. According to your logic @26:00 every unbeliever must be very animalistic creature, but it is not so. Also consider writings of Jude: ...These are hidden reefs at your love feasts, as they feast with you without fear, shepherds feeding themselves; waterless clouds, swept along by winds; fruitless trees in late autumn, twice dead, uprooted; - Jude 1:12 - he is talking about twice dead Cristians . They once were dead, then made alife through Christ, then fallen away - died again.
@colton73734 жыл бұрын
How could a Christian be “twice dead” if they’ve been born twice? We were dead in trespasses and God made us alive. The Holy Spirit has SEALED us for the day of redemption... do you really think He will fail to keep that seal? I don’t see how that would be possible, God doesn’t make mistakes. When God says something, He means it and at the same time He delights in keeping His promises. He said He will never leave you nor forsake you. He also said no created thing can separate us from the love of Christ, you are a created thing, you can’t lose your salvation if you tried.
@colton73734 жыл бұрын
Jude is not talking about believers in that part of his epistle.. someone who is in Christ isn’t fruitless and they’re not a waterless cloud. They are filled with the Spirit of God and are the only people able to produce fruit.. I don’t see how you think this verse means we can lose our salvation. It’s a prophetic look at the times we are in surrounded by false teachers who do not have the Spirit.

Jesus is a wrong translation. His Name is Yeshua. He was a Jew. His real Name was given to Him in Hebrew and in Hebrew it has a meaning. If you preach the Name Jesus to a Jew it coveys no meaning to him.

@colton73734 жыл бұрын
No, God is good, and those who believe in His only begotten Son receive a NEW HEART meaning new desires and new object of our affection... Christ is our life, we don’t want to sin, even though we still stumble. Unbelievers who are still in Adam love sin and hate God. We believers hate sin and love God.
