There is a mod called replay mod where you can watch your gameplay like a video from a spectator mode perspective and you can move around your world instead of just focusing on you

To add to that, it's basically like a recording software but it's recording the literal ingame world instead of your screen, including every block, entity and player as long as they are loaded, i.e. somehwere nearby

The cinematic shots are probably made with a mod called ReplayMod, though some people just have a account they put into spectator mode. Also the better lighting is done by using the mod optifine with what's called shaders, and the glowing ores are from a resource pack.

Skyblock is fun, but you also get a chest with lava, water, and maybe some bones or bonemeal. as long as you got that, and the dirt, AND the tree, you're basically set for life. Also thats the replay mod for minecraft where you can watch your player character do stuff.

The ‘mod’ that allows the lighting and all that to look like that is just base forge, which gives a new feature to the game along side allowing mods to load. It allows usage of the ‘Shaders’ folder, which works like the ‘Resource pack’ folder, where you can download some online and slap into the folder. The water is included in most of the shaders packs. They also run surprisingly smoothly. I’m even able to run some shaders on my 2012 MacBook with not much of a frame rate difference.

The reason everything looks so fancy is because of shaders. They're a bit different from mods and resource packs. There's all manor of shaders you can get to change how the game looks. Ever seen minecraft with a realistic texture pack and rtx active at the same time? It's ridiculous. You woulf actually think it's real life in some situations.

Personally when it comes to Minecraft, I hate going underground to mine for stuff. It's so creepy down there. One time I was exploring a underground area which happened to be a abandoned mine. One of the tunnels was collapsed so I decided to dig through it to see what's on the other side. When I hacked first two blocks away, a freaking Enderman was staring right at me from the other side. It freaked me out so bad that I almost fell off from my gaming chair from the initial shock!

a easy way to do the camera cinematic is to just have another character on the server in creative mode with their hud disappeared while everyone else in survival mode. The character in creative mode will just act like a camera. At least that was a way of doing it but I haven't messed with Minecraft for years now.

I actually learned how they do the cinematic shots from grian hes a youtuber Basically they use what they call a camera account They log in in the separate account on the same computer in the same game that way it's recording using the camera account while they're playing then they have to do a speed app the footage the camera account records

The cinematic shots you see are done by using a mod called Replay mod, its a very good mod and allows you to make some creative time lapse videos I've used it for a few things though it will take a bit of practice to get right. As for the way they got the water to look, thats done Using the Optifine mod and third party shaders which make the game look so beautiful, and there are lots of different shaders to choose from, though some shaders don't use optifine but instead have there own way of using them

The "Mod" is probably a shader used with either iris/orculus (for forge users) or Optifine. If im correct it might be Sildurs Shader but im not Sure. Maybe its Complimentary but dont ask me if Standart or Reimagined.

I feel having a strike rule would defeat the purpose of the video, the point was to see if he could do it with his friends, yes, it would result in it being completed faster, but not only would it be less entertaining for us, it would get too easy for them after enough resets, which would likely make the victory feel less fulfilling as a result I feel that kind of rule would be fine if you weren’t trying to make a video of it, but if you are, I don’t think it’d fit too well
