I'm amazed by how much makeup/skin care items these folks have. I haven't owned or worn makeup in well over a decade. I didn't even own chapstick until last week! That's as close to makeup as I'll ever get. To each their own. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Although I agree with your final sentence, Something about the way this comment is worded sounds kinda condescending towards those who enjoy makeup. Hopefully that wasn’t your intention. Imo, everyone should atleast have a basic skin care routine (cleanser, moisturiser, sunscreen, lip balm) if they can afford it.

@@onebrowngirl998 Literally, nothing in this comment is worded to be condescending in any way. Someone not wearing makeup and not enjoying it doesn't equal them shaming people who do. I swear, sometimes you guys just go off of pure vibes and call it a day, and it’s just stupid dude. Also, not everyone needs nor wants a basic skincare routine. If they have good enough skin and it’s not harmful/hurting them, they don’t need it.

I understand that it’s subconscious to think that, but let those thoughts stay in your mind; no one wants to hear them especially if they’re doing nothing wrong. Sunscreen is not recognized as a general part of skincare, it’s just something to protect your skin from the sun. Caring for your skin and protecting it aren’t necessarily the same thing, which is why sunscreen is unrelated.

@@travisscott2085 My comment clearly gave OP the benefit of doubt and was completely based on previous comments I've seen that propagate the "pick me" culture through similar comparisons. Id happily acknowledge my mistake if it was OP replying and not a stranger. No need to rage here. And idk about you sis, but protection from the sun is pretty necessary no matter how good someone's skin is and water isn't going to clear your skin of the gunk that builds up on it everyday either. And unless one wants to walk around with crusty, cracked lips and skin, I'd say balms are necessary too.

I only have the basic like concealer, mascara, nude eye shadow & a black but only like 2. The one im currently using & a 2nd one. They have like a couple for each type. Just only get more when ur out of the 1st one or something. I get they don't want to wear like the same one over & over but even still that's a lot

@@Zampirezz agreed. no one needs THIS many products. i gurantee yall that 90% of that makeup gets expired and thrown away. even if theyre content creators and theyre tryin new makeup; theres still no fuckin way they use up that much. its just not physically possible. i use up lets say; 3 products of every cathegory per year (like 3 primers, 3 foundations...) which is still a lot imo. but their amounts r just excessive
