I am so glad you posted this video. I recently came into ownership of a 1 ton version of this same hoist. Starting the cleaning now and hope to have it operational by the end of summer. If it turns out half as good as yours, I will be happy. Nice job!

If I could give you one piece of advice, if the hoist still has it's original chains keep them. The chain has a really odd pitch that I had a very difficult time finding a replacement for. Thanks for the kind words and good luck!

It's really cool to see it come together, I hope you have the original chains. I had a hard time finding the right pitch for one of the chains. Good luck and I hope you enjoy it!

Pretty sure I used John Deere green, I bought if from farm and fleet if you check the website it will probably be there. It was a spray paint, farm implement paint.

At 1 minute 25 im missing both those chain guide brackets id say be impossible to get them . Mine is the 1 and half ton . Yale and towne.
