But why...? You reduced the cone size so it's quieter, and reused an old wrecked coil and spider. If you got a recone kit for $20 it comes with a new cone, coil, and spider designed to fit the driver and basket...

You didn't seal the cabinet between the subwoofer and amplifier you didn't put any glue around the wires to prevent air leakage I can hear a lot of noise it's terrible

You did all the work well but the woofer box you made was not made properly. The vent that you installed at the back to release the pressure should have been in front of the box and the inside also needed to be changed a little. With which the Bass would have come a lot.
