Restoration and repair of This Junk Nintendo 64 - Retro N64 Console Restoration

I have been searching for this rare Nintendo 64 ice-blue clear Japanese console for a while, and I'm glad to have it now. I bought it from the local scrap market for only $5.
It looks in very bad condition, it is very dirty. This console was made in 1999. Many years have passed.
Lots of happy memories with this console, especially the game of the International Superstar Soccer 64.
The Nintendo 64 was Nintendo's third home console. Released in 1996 for the US and Japan, the N64 boasted 64-bit graphics for the most realistic gaming experience ever made to date. The N64 was co-developed by Nintendo and Silicon Graphics.

In this video, I will restore and #asmr #repair the Nintendo 64 back to work again, the console doesn't show any sound or picture at all.
Rare Nintendo 64 Ice Blue Clear Japanese N64 System
The Nintendo 64 is a system that generally doesn't have a lot of issues since it doesn't have any moving parts inside, but they still pop up broken on eBay. Today I wanted to take a look at one that was listed as broken, but it turned out to be the easiest fix for me so far.
To disassemble the device, a special screwdriver is needed, because Nintendo puts safety screws that need a special screwdriver. Such screws can be found in many Nintendo consoles.
The N64 has a ton of different types of screws so it's especially important to make sure I know where they go once, I'm putting it back together.
When I tried the device, it turned on and the power LED lit up, this is a good sign in most old devices. This is the reason for the presence of dust between some of the connecting pins under the game port which could affect the console.

Coat the plastic in hydrogen peroxide to fix discoloration. Hydrogen peroxide works well on plastics that have turned entirely yellow instead of in just one spot. Fill a plastic bag with enough hydrogen peroxide to cover the plastic. Stick the plastic in the bag of hydrogen peroxide and lay it out in direct sunlight. Wait 3-4 hours before rinsing it off with clean water.
You can purchase hydrogen peroxide at a drugstore or big box store.
If you’re treating some sort of plastic mechanism, make sure you remove all the parts that aren’t plastic before putting them into the hydrogen peroxide.
You can also use an old toothbrush to scrub the hydrogen peroxide onto the plastic if desired

Retrobright is a process you go through to take the “yellowing” out of old computer or video game plastic. What you do is smear some peroxide developer on the yellowed plastic, cover it with food plastic wrap, and let it sit under UV light for several hours.

This is just a cleaning video. There was 0 trouble shooting involved, zero reparation and something that could have been achieved within minutes using an ultrasound bath. Do you have any actual reparatiom/restoration video or do you just task yourself with the equivalent of car wash videos? Production value is good though

But as I was watching this there are certain ways first can only be caked with time and you can see this on the video.
