I complement the gentleman on bringing the combination saw/jointer back pretty close to operating condition. It is NOT, however, safe to use in the state of repair that was attained at the end of the video. The elements it needs to have on it are so-called "fences" for both the jointer, and especially the saw. Additionally, the machine needs both guards and a splitter for the saw blade. The manner in which the gentleman cut wood is EXTREMELY dangerous without the aforementioned fences and guards. Perhaps the gentleman knows that and will add the safety items before the machine is utilized for production work. I admire the apparent cleanliness of the shop, and the range of good tools being properly used. I am guessing that the shop is located in Vietnam, possibly in the northern part of the country. Having been in Vietnam during the war there 50 years ago, it is gratifying to see an ordinary craft shop being operated during a time of peace there and for ordinary people in it to go about their business without the fear that is always present during wartime conditions.

It’s clearly not a saw for use. It’s a video for views.

Здорово конечно, но зачем трущиеся части и рабочие поверхности было красить - для меня остается загадкой. Ощущение просто постановы для контента
