@@nerios.v your story made me think of the Christmas movie Miracle on 34th Street. 😂 Santa was doing just that. They got mad at him until they realized that people appreciated it so much that their sales actually were increasing rather than decreasing. You do have a good point as to why management would see it like that, but that viewpoint is definitely constricting and prevents growth through potential collaborations. Our world could use less competition and more collaboration.

@@aqueen13 The thing is, RH is a high end luxury brand, they don't need collaborations for lower tier priced products, the whole goal is not just the look and feel but the brand itself, is like buying a Channel bag vs buying a bag that looks like Channel, that's why the conflict of interest is higher.

@@nerios.v You are right. The management has every right to see it that way. I just disagree with their view. I personally couldn’t use the duped Chanel bags as a comparison because those look the same. Most of her dupes looked way different, just with the same function. People with the funds would buy the higher quality over the dupes anyway too (and that’s their target market). The more I learn about human psychology and business, the more I feel like all entrepreneurs and businesses need to let go of the competitive attitude. There is plenty of business for everyone if we all hone in on our unique clientele and niches.

I just purchased a sofa from RH that I have been eyeing for a few years. If a dupe existed, I would still purchase the RH one. But I do appreciate dupes for other items. I also understand where RH is coming from. As an employee, it seems to be driving business away from them. The best influencers, in my opinion, are not tied to any one company or product. That always skews their objectivity.

Loved this video! To achieve a taller height for the online tree fill the planter with something sturdy enough to uphold the tree & add moss at the top of the planter to hide the base

I use mulch in empty pots. It adds height and weight and you can nestle the small pot of the olive tree or other plant in it, it will add stability to an otherwise top heavy tree. Then you can continue to top off with more mulch, river rocks, or moss to further conceal the pot. I personally like to use large rocks for all my big pots, was never a fan of moss. It's cleaner and classier. The white or black river rocks sell for ten dollars a large bag at Home Depot.

If one can afford RH merchandise, and if it is important to them to have the genuine item, by all means BUY RH. This video is so helpful! I bought the RH Davos Oak Rectangular Table in aged dark brown. Which I am obsessed with but I’m struggling with chairs for it. I really like the RH saddle side chair with the same wood and either a hide or leather fabric but they’re so expensive per piece and we have a baby on the way! Any ideas on where to find chairs that are almost the same color wood as RHs aged dark brown?! Thank you!!

You could always pair the jakob chair, Morgan of Ellison from RH that would be great options. You don’t have to match wood tones …. You could always pull a black or even a fabric chair for contrast to the dark table. Davos is one of my favorite lines from RH …. Great choice on dining table!

Husband here! Love your channel and you! IRH totally our style but not so the price. We did splurge on the St James bedroom set in antique oak. Now working on other parts of house. Can you shed some light on the quality and durability of dining and barstools chairs. I’m concerned about durability if fabrics and the actual frame of chairs. My current chairs have solid wood frames so cushion don’t sag. Are there dining room tables (wood) Bette than others. The RH outlet does provide insight into wear and tear and actual quality of products sold in gallery! Take care! P.S. how about video of you working out.

Thank you for your support of my channel. That is a great question. Honestly I haven't had a problem. But I've also implented some rules here in my house especially when it comes to the table and chairs. Since I have a 2.5 year old and we eat dinner at our marble table every night....... she sits on a towel for spills for the chair (it's a light off white color cushion) and as far as the marble goes we use placemats and coasters for spills and water rings marks. When it comes to the marble.... it's really no different than wood. Just need to be careful. You can seal the marble every so often for longevity. I hope this information helps you! :) xoxoxo

So curious if it’s always things that nobody likes (so they don’t sell at the stores) or if it’s more returns from custom orders that didn’t fit etc?? -been eyeing those dining chairs but I’ve seen people with them post pics where they look super disheveled and wrinkled so that striking, tight look is totally lost. Hi! I am just seeing this comment for whatever reason (sorry for my delayed response). Thanks for finding me! :) 1. Items that wind up at outlets are 100% random. It's a mixture of online canceled orders, customer returns, or discontinued items. Every outlet differs in product and most outlets get shipment 2-4x a week (depending on their stores volume). 2. With the chairs..... you might be referring to the skirted option? The skirted Elison chair can defiantly have a wrinkled appearance and it's not weighted down by anything but free-flowing at the bottom. I have yet to have any wrinkle issue with mine (non-skirted). I also am not sitting in them 24-7 which might also be why.

Hi Hanna! I own a couple of RH pieces, and I visit RH Outlet frequently. However, I am reluctant to purchase big item I can’t fit in my car because I’m concerned about using third party delivery services and the fact RH washes their hands completely of responsibility. Also, I would love a chandelier, but concerned about reliability and RH not standing behind it since I purchased at outlet. What are your thoughts about the third party delivery and RH standing behind quality issues for stuff sold at outlet?

Hi Sidney... this is a GREAT question. I can't speak for everyyyyyyy outlet... only my own. But RH as a company stand behind their clients and their modo "people first." We've had a (few) instances where the delivery company has made mistakes... and we've stood behind what we can do to make a situation better. Whether that means an additional discount or a full refund etc. We try our best to accommodate all clients and any situations that arise. As far as lighting goes.... every outlet should have a full refund policy (no questions asked) if for whatever reason you get the item home and installed and it doesn't work. We physically can't test a lighting fixture and there is always that "what if" when purchasing anything electrical. So rest assure that if it doesn't work once home ... you can return it to the outlet. I hope this information helps you when contemplating your RH outlet purchases. :) xoxoxo

I actually purchased my first RH rug for my dining room makeover (video coming soon). Ah man.. that console dupe is seriously so GOOD! You have no idea how excited I was when I found it. I absolutely love RH. But unfortunately I am on a budget. There is one item that I have seen and I cannot find anything close to it anywhere else. Is it a chandelier. The one that you have is black and have a sleek bulds in it they go straight up . I would love to find something comfortable to it, maybe not as large and in a satin or brushed gold finish.

Ekkk hi girl. What you are looking for is kinda a unicorn to be honest. The perennial is our most popular fabric and usually sells the second we have it. We don't get slip covers very often ... and when we do, they are usually in like a velvet, or grey color. Not the best selling (if that makes sense). Best advice is to call your local outlets and see if anyone has one or if they can track one down for you. Just need an item number and you are good to go. Hope this helps!
