you did a good job my friend. but next time it's best to sand it with 750, 1000,1300 and than polish the black part, so it looks like a mirror again. I have the same Jamo 606 and the are looking great now after a polish. Wel after all you can enjoy the sound and the looks of the Jamo 606 series. They were never shiny. The rubber is supposed to have a matte surface which gives them the exclusive look. That is why I'm here, because my wife was trying to be nice and cleaned them for me, and where she scrubbed they became shiny, which looks very bad, and I need to find a way to get the matte finish back. ;)

what was the spray used on the black top to clean it? also what was the spray used onthe front black lower half of the speaker? have u tried polishing the wood veneer? my speaker the apple cherry has faded.. what shud i do?

you can use gasoline to remove, then repaint with matte black paint

What paint did you use? I have a similar problem on my Jamo s626

I use ATM paint, You should paint 3 layers, each layer about 2 to 3 hours apart
