@@treebud139 love it although they are more than 30,years old its quite durable and i do all repairs and maintenance with engine electrics and undervhassis as much as i can.. These have one of the most durable. Body made in the same factory of toyota japan Araco same body thats for the land cruiser heavy duty 70 series since the 1980s

I had the same car for 8 years, if you have the same engine - 2LT, just be careful- do not overload it and always look for coolant liquid level, also the front wheels hubs can be the issue, but the rest of the car is good- you made the great job, the paint is excellent.

To test if the radiator fan clutch pack is still working properly, after coming back from a drive, keep the engine idling, lift the bonnet and then get someone to turn the engine off, whilst you look at the radiator fan. If it stops immediately with the engine, the fan clutch is good. But if the fan keep spinning for a few seconds after the engine is stopped, then the clutch pack is worn and needs to be refilled with silicone fluid or replaced.

At that car's age, perhaps it would have been an idea to have the engine overhauled. At the very least, a top engine overhaul but recommended for a full engine overhaul. Bulletproof as Toyota engines are, they do get old and worn out.

Thanks for the suggestion, Kok Liang! I actually had the engine overhauled shortly after I bought the car. Unfortunately, it seems I might have chosen the wrong shop for the job-the mechanics overlooked a few things and didn’t reinstall everything properly. I’m working on getting it sorted out. I appreciate your input!
