Only tighten the Axle Mounting Plates "AFTER" you install the Leaf Springs into the Shackles. That way you get correct Thrust Angle Alignment before you tighten everything down.

While using an angle grinder with a cutting disc please use a cover it is a big safety hazard without a cover,you are doing a great job .

Another good job but you must have a factory mixing nothing but green paint. I've seen many many of these restorations and every one of them has been painted green can't you get any other colours like red, white or orange? It would be nice to see some of those colours every now and then.
