[DISCLAIMER] 4:06 Stat Priority will see a slight shift in raids where mastery will be preferred over haste. 10:01 I advocate for Latent Wisdom (ancestors being 20% more powerful) in the Farseer CH build but image shows Ancient Fellowship - play Latent Wisdom. Same for Raid Build - although here you have more room to play other hero talents in Raid. 18:47 Currently Ancestral Swiftness is not buffing Healing Rain's damage by 10% (this is a bug waiting to get hotfixed). I tried to be as succint as possible in this guide in order not to make it too long. With the revamp of the spec tree and the addition of hero talents, there's a lot of room for creativity with talents. As such, I only showed a few builds of many that can be played so make sure to check them all here imgur.com/a/tww-rsham-builds-laren-O056qnA For further information of the changes made to the specialization and a more in depth analysis, check out my other video on the beta changes here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/rXa6h2ieoMp1bJYsi=8gnE06BbhXiB-KJ7

Great video, i main rsham and this is very well put together with sense for detail, i am sure this will help a lot of people so great job on that. I cant say i learned anythign advanced from the video but that is ok, i am currently doing +8/+9 keys so around 2300 rio, but basically from my testing the take is: 1. if you have a team and run 5stack you can play farseer which requires setup and team coordination for trading CDs during fights 2. if you are pugging, always go totemic, it has overall slight advantage and throughput is there 3. the only disadvantage for totemic is the mana issues but you will learn eventually how to preserve mana and make use of totem reset for living stream totems and use it on CD so you have 3 charges for fight 4. run poison cleanse for arakara, CoT, mists and grim batol 5. improved purify for GB mostly 6. earthgrab improved with roots for Mists and Ara Kara (for fixated mobs), the 3rd boss is necrotic does not get rooted, so dont bother 7. tremor totem can be useful but not needed at all if your group can kick casts properly 8. grab mage food from follower dungeon at start of your session and drink as often as possible 9. buy the flasks for 2000 crit, its wort every penny

Great guide, helped a ton!! I have a question tho, playing my shaman I feel like keeping riptide on cooldown I'm always wasting a ton of Tidal Wave procs. Is that normal or should I just wait on using riptides till I have a reason to spend the Tidal Wave proccs? Thanks in advance
@lareneu2 ай бұрын
It's normal - don't worry about wasting Tidal Wave stacks. You mainly use them on Healing Surge, but can also use it on Healing Wave or Surge for the reduced cast effect. Keep using Riptide on cooldown
@Ritho26Ай бұрын
IMO Undulation is better since you can spawn multiple ancestors during high healing moments because you might be having to spam Healing Surge.. therefore making the moment easier to handle with their support. Where Unleash Life is hard tied to a 15 second cooldown.

Hello, Laren. Your video is very informative and straight to the point. I have one question, though. In the 'FARSEER - M+ WITH Chain Heal' build, you recommend playing with Earthen Harmony. So, which option do you think we should sacrifice: Downpour or Tidebringer?
@lareneu2 ай бұрын
Tidebringer personally, as the Season 1 tier set helps increase the effectiveness on Tidal Waves, so the cast time on Chain Heal will be reduced even further. I personally like Downpour but if you dislike the gameplay of it and want the quality of life that Tidebringer provides, then you could drop Downpour.

This might be a dumb question, but how easy is it to swap from resto to elemental gear wise? Though I wanted to main elemental, I currently enjoy resto a lot. If I decide to swap to Elemental later on in the season, do I need to get a whole new set of gear or is resto gear fine for elemental? From what I can tell, the main difference is that Elemental cares a lot more about haste than resto

Hi ! I don't like primordial wave and i'm mad the class is still cursed with it since shadowland (where i think we had better covenenant abilities to keep). I was glad to see that wowhead guide advising not taking it for ONCE (maybe because nerfed) in their build for mythic+ Totemic...But now i see you, Theun and Shamrock going arount with it and i'm a bit lost, and i haven't a clear view about why. So i'm asking you, can you tell me please what we miss with the Wowhead Mythic+ totemic build without primordial wave ? And why some elite player like you still go with it ?
@lareneu2 ай бұрын
Primordial Wave is still a decent pick for what it is - but it is a less powerful version compared to its previous iterations. With Totemic it's an option to skip it because you have many other ways to AoE heal your group. I do still like the playstyle of PW and like having a different group heal option other than chain heal. It's also a decent single target heal, so I personally will still play it.

I big question . You said at 18:40 ... when you have 5 or more targets you will cast healing rain into CL spam . But why ? Our CL just hits a maximum of 3 targets. So why we use FS for 3 target and 5 or more just CL . There would be no diff between 3 or 5 or more targets. Or i miss something ?
@lareneuАй бұрын
You can CL on 3 targets if you'd like but typically I'm more prone to prioritise FS + LB on that low number of mobs so a certain target dies faster for more prio damage. Anything above that, even though we're target capped with CL at 3 and AR at 5, you just press those same damage abilities because there's no point in doing anything else other than that.
@paracelsuz94892 ай бұрын
The stat priority i feel is not explained well in many different guided. At the start of a new tier, doesn't mastery grow in position stat wise? Like intel-crit-mas-vers-haste? Or swap vers with mas. I want to understand better, when i gear for m+ or raid.
@lareneu2 ай бұрын
In raid, you will prefer crit > vers > mastery > haste. At the start of a tier mastery will gain a bit more value but I wouldn't trade it over versatility. In keys, stat prio is the same as it's always been crit > vers > haste > mastery.
