I would never put nubuck in the washing machine with detergents, the long term effects of the material starting to crack is only enhanced by soaking in water. As always though, good work.

Flat black compared to regular black is that regular black is glossier than flat black. Flat black has less of a shine. And I think Vick just does one coat of finisher. Few swipes all around the midsole.

i have had to repaint my jordan 4 bred midsoles , ive used angelus leather paint and a clear lacquer and yet it still continues to crack how do you prevent it from cracking again , also how do you restore the cracking durabuck ?? i have a pair of 2012 bred and now they are cracking around the toes , these jordans are hard to come by so i really want to save them , i have hardly even worn them so im confused on how they crack so easily both on the midsoles and the durabuck , do you have any suggestions please ??

Chef Sharkos Sole Bright or for the cheaper option, some 40 Volume Creme. Applies the same and has the same effect. It’s just oxidation on the rubber.

Apply a generous coat, wrap in plastic wrap and expose to UV light (under UV bulb or in the sun). If you go the sun route and it’s hot, don’t leave them out too long or the heat could weaken the glue between the midsole and the upper. You can KZbin for videos on it tho.
