RESTORE MY VINTAGE COACH PURSE | Repairing My Patricia's Legacy Coach Bag

Great video and great job on removing the paint splatter! I'm refurbishing my first bag and it is the Patricia Legacy 9951. I'm excited and a bit nervous. My Patricia has the same droop as your on the bottom of the bag. I'm curious if you were able to reshape it and get rid of the darn droop. If you did, would you mind sharing how you did it. I want the droop gone in mine. Can't wait to watch more of your restoration vintage Coach bag videos.

Oh thank you! I hope you love your bag as much as I do :) I was told to stuff the bag with paper or anything after you clean. Then it regains it's shape a bit. I have to occasionally do this from time to time. Thanks for watching!

That’s a 9951, Patricia’s legacy. Acetone or rubbing alcohol are my two goto’s with paint or color transfer removal. I fully dunk and wash about 90% of my rehab bags, especially if you need to reshape a bag. Don’t be afraid to fully wash a bag.

If you're using Acetone follow up with cpr leather care conditioner. Acetone and alcohol is very drying and will dry the leather out which leads to cracking. Your bag isn't that bad and really doesn't need to be dunked. You can clean the outside with saddle soap which is another good option. 😊

Would love to see a review of the purse, wear and tear, how you use it, what's in your bag, if you use the zipper/flap and if it's easy to use/close. PS, a tip on storage. If you stuff your bag with tissue paper or old clothes (or something else😂) and close the zipper, it will keep it's shape better.

Stuff the bag it will help reshape the bag over time. Use tissue paper and don't over stuff.
