Great advice, works for me. No need to restart the registry editor though, just press F5. No need to reboot computer, go to task manager and right click on 'Windows Explorer' and select 'Restart'.

How do you even get the * Git Clone * button there ? I dont have it, and I have git installed

you need to install TortoiseGit software for that. GUI utility for git for windows.
