Nice. It actually sounds a lot cleaner than the original being converted back like this. More low end also, I believe they filtered out some lower end when they recorded it for JtS.

@@lostcause15 Yeah, it was a mistake that the bits became reversed. The programmers weren't aware that the NES read them backwards, but it was a good mistake because it actually ended up sounding nice that way. I'm glad we have the original sample now also.

@@lostcause15 Yeah, it was just a mistake that happened to work. Many games even had their drum samples reversed, in which case they actually didn't sound better. It's essentially corrupted by being reversed, yet it managed to make it sound better ironically. Happy accident. I agree that it sounds better reversed also.
