Restoring a 105 year old Estey Chapel Organ

Beautiful work on this thoroughly "serious" reed organ. Glad to see the the Bass Coupler couples UP---as it always should when there's a Bourdon 16' in the bass---and interesting to note the 24-37 break, and that fact that the top octave of reeds in one of the ranks is set much less deep into the cells than the other 4 octaves. Is that to maintain volume right at the top, or is it for another reason? I enjoyed the samples at the end, which nicely illustrate what the organ can do.

I'm not sure why some reeds stick our further. The "Philharmonic" reeds in this instrument are longer than normal reeds. Perhaps it's related to that.

I'm looking for a Chicago Cottage thats been restored...or something similar sounding...I have an old one in my building, but its pretty bad condition, but I love the Chicago Cottages sound...its leaking air...I have one that was comepletly restored, is mint condtion...see my veeeedio on it...Lords Prayer on Chicago Cottage pump organ....its awesome and I got it for way too cheap, but I tried paying much more, but she refused to take a dime more...bless her soul!
