BURKEY'S BACK! After his long-awaited return last year in the Budget Builds series, Burkey is back to help me build some epic 4WDs and bring you along for the ride! His first project is this Grandpa spec LN106 Hilux which he plans to turn into the ultimate beach runner! Burkey doesn't cut any corners so you can guarantee this is going to be one hell of a rig!

I'm really enjoying the new format this channel has implemented a bit of everything so can choose to follow or not. The build series and the bush tuka are my faves. Can you consider running a 2nd channel for more in-depth and behind the scene footage of the main channel. I would of really liked to seen this build in full.

You guys are so lucky to have those trucks built that way into the 1990s. I live in the U.S.A. and at one time I had 12 Toyota 4x4s from 1981 to 85s, and 3 1994 models, which the 1985s were the last year of the straight axles here in the States. 9 of the ones I had were 1985 models, 5 of them being the SR5 extra cabs which are my favorite, I had one 85 that came with the 22-RTE engine, it was only the second one I had ever seen, and the only trucks I could find here with the diesel engine were 2-wheel-drive.
