I believe if if you use Sea Deck or something similar, instead of carpet, you will be much happier. Just a suggestion. 😎😎

Thanks for the tip! I really looked into it. I wouldn't be happy with the huge gaps with the sea dek since the hatches were made and sized up for double overlapping carpet on each hatch and hole. Iv'e fished off sea dek material stuff before and enjoyed it and it washes off nice too Not sure on the longevity though.
