I was so excited with the sponsor you had for this channel. Went out to order some hoosier parts and their Skelton key assortment. They called me on a question for my order for the tambour straping. Even after realizing I had ordered 25', apologized for bothering me. Said no that is great customer service. He said call us anytime you have a question. I mentioned that I got their sire from the sponsorship of your channel. Was happy to hear that. Thanks again for all you projects. All great info I have used from time to time on my repairs!!😊😊

It is great valuable info to learn about upholstery. (Although for major jobs Thomas Johnson often sends furniture to his professional upholsterer). Thank you! For the hot glue-up pf the gimp trim: a lot of crafters suggest to avoid burning fingers, use a Popsicle stick to smooth the gimp over the hot glue, and/or a bowl of cold water nearby to plunge burnt fingers into.

When I was a kid (50s and 60s), my dad had a small box of upholstery tacks. I could not figure out why they said "sterilized" until many years later, when I learned that upholsterers would hold a bunch of tacks in their mouth and bring them out to the magnetic hammer one at a time when they were taking up some upholstery.

Thanks so much for your calm 3 31:40 1:37 instructional videos WITHOUT any music. Silence truly is golden! Wait! There is some music now but it’s soothing and not interrupting when you speak. It’s pretty bad when the music is annoying and louder than the person speaking. This was very nice, but even without any music at all, it would have been just as nice. This is coming from someone who loves music, but I think as everything, there’s a time and place for it. Thanks again! ☺️
