The head was in the stuff I bought from the online estate auction, and the handle is probably seconds that I bought in Canton, TX. flea market, so together I have less than 8 bucks in this hammer restore, always need a good hammer!

That's a cross pien. Useful in the blacksmith shop. I use one probably 90% of the time, but I'm using a rounding hammer more for the national cirriculum.... Oh, Dr. Pepper is the Nectar of the Gods....

I must be a god!!!!!!!!!!, my wife just told me to shut-up!, I have used it already and I do like the feel of it, I was wondering how it would feel with a shorter handle?!

Very nice job and nice hammer I'm working a small one I just found out it's a Pexto , and you are wright about people at Walmart .

To prevent sockets getting sucked in simply put a screen in front of the hole.😮🎉

The hammer is worth more when you invested time into it cleaning/restoring and putting it back together.

I have a hammer just like this it was my grandfather’s I’m in the process of restoring it it’s mirror polished because I’m not going to use it anymore I know it’s fifty or sixty years old it will be a wall hanger because he died when I was five years old

DJ I just have to ask Have you talked to anybody about that I mean really do What do you go through 1-3 cans Carb A week away A week You know you you you might have to find a group I'm not sure if there is a carb cleaner anonymous You might have to look at that

Add some window screen to the vacuum to catch small things from being tucked up.

That's a very handy size...you Will learn to absolutely love this little hammer 👍🏻.. I would clean up te face..but that's just me... you did an absolutely stunning job👌

My wife’s a scrub tech and brings those towels home all the time! I knew those looked familiar. I use them in the shop all the time.

@@djstoolrestorations I use a 2.2 and 3.3 to blacksmith with. The straight peen is for stretching the metal. As well as rounding hammers etc

@@aprilnichols2806 I admire your blacksmithing skills, A true art form, that takes years to learn, I thank you for taking time to watch my redneck channel, friend of mine says he uses this still of hammer when he was a pipe fitter, I guess if it works it works!
