Beautiful Chronograph and superb work as usual. You can tell it’s a Valjoux 21/22/71/72 series without taking the movement out of the watch case! Just look at the spacing on the pushers to the crown. The four 0-clock pusher is always farther from the crown than the 2 o-clock pusher. Except for WWII Hanharts which are really extreme on the pusher to crown distance. The column wheel chronographs just feel that much smoother versus the cam system. Real difference between the 321 versus the 861 Omegas with the former feeling like butter. Nicolet is a very underrated company. The early movements are always decorated and chamfered. Later they became standard, unadorned ebauches. This is typically a 17 jewel movement but Nicolet adds an extra jewel to it. The perlage and stripes are gorgeous. Merci beaucoup for another great video! Geoff.

I enjoyed this, so I will subscribe. I watch a couple of horology channels but I have zero interest in repairing watches. I literally have no desire to do any of this. In fact, I don't even know what you're doing nor do I have a detailed understanding of how a watch works. (I'm slowly learning that bit.) I just enjoy watching people fix watches. I do have a partial watch collection. At one point, I handed down my watch collection - all but a few of my favorite pieces. I've since purchased more watches. I'm a Citizen fan, but Omega make nice watches.
