Your comment made me cry because I just got broken up with after I made 2 mistakes. Instead of sitting down with me and talking it out, he threw me out of his life like I was garbage because he didn't want to deal with the negative sides of me. As if any woman is perfect. As if he doesn't have flaws himself. I was willing to work through them because I loved him.

@courtneybridge14274 жыл бұрын
@Sophie Bauer No. To explain, we technically were never dating. He was a friend. As time progressed, we would talk on the phone everday and I fell for him and wanted to be with him. He even made a promise to me that we'd spend Christmas together. One night, I stopped hearing from him. I texted here and there saying how I missed him and wanted to talk again. He blatantly ignored me. I asked again if we're still spending Christmas. He said no. I started having a panic attack and cried out for his attention. He gave it to me, and explained he felt like me taking 2 days too long to respond to him sometimes upset him and made him feel terrible. Because I was emotionally unstable from him saying all of that, I went into shock and telling him he should never think that way, and that sometimes I'm just busy and that he is my only friend and reminded him that my family isn't with me and that he's all I have. He said not to put my family issues on him, and to just text him back sooner. I then agreed and apologized. From there, this is where I made a mistake. I was still in panic mode even though he said everything is okay. I wanted to go to bed because it was late at night and I knew I was having a mental and emotional breakdown. Talking through anxiety is the worst thing a woman can do because you say some of the craziest things you thought you could never say, but I was scared that if I didn't talk to him when he wanted that, I would lose him again. So, even though I had anxiety, I stayed up with him, and spoke through my anxiety. I said the most craziest things. I told him I loved him and that he's the perfect friend for me and that I would want to die at the thought of losing him. I also said contradicting things like that I don't know him well enough to love him sometimes because of how he randomly ignored me like that. I then told him about my suicidal thoughts in the past, and he told me to go get help. He then said to me "spend Christmas alone. You'll never see me again". So me admitting I loved him like a crazy person whilst claiming I didn't know him that well, taking 2 days to call him back, and wanting to die made him feel angry enough to leave me....I'm still in love with him. I understand he doesn't want blood on his hands, but telling me I should get help and walking away from me just made me feel like all the sweet moments we had just didn't even matter. I know I have problems, so I'm taking his advice and getting help. However, as a true friend, I just wished he'd stay by me to actually see me get the help I need. But instead, he walked away. I am hurting, I am mad, I am sad, but I'm gonna be strong and get through this.
@courtneybridge14274 жыл бұрын
@@learnit2759 Thank you for taking the time to read my story. Thank you so much. You have no idea how much it means to me. Honestly, I still want him. Thank you for giving me advice to just move on, but I'm still very much in love with him, and I feel like it's all my fault. I shouldn't have freaked out even when he said he wanted to still talk to me. I should have calmed down and went to bed and woke up the next morning with a level headed mind, but I just really didn't want him leaving me. It's really all my fault. I have a plan though. I'm just gonna go to therapy, talk about my journey through mental health recovery online through social media to get advice from others who struggle with similar problems, and then reach out to him in a matter of months when I'm better.

@@courtneybridge1427 random stranged here! From your story, your friend was kind of rude :( like, granted: he's not your therapist, and he's entitled to his feelings of missing you whenever you didn't call, but the hypocritical nature of the issue makes him come off as borderline munipulative, or at the least selfish when he didn't consider respecting neither your right to time apart from him, nor your feelings and instead leaving you admist a panic attack. I do implore you to see help tho-- and am glad you've thought to do so already! As someone who's mental health is... not the best, I know it gets rough to curb harmful thoughts without the proper support system. You're doing great already seeking to get therapy, and though it may not mean much from a stranger, I'm proud of you already. Be kind to yourself.

Wow, it’s ridiculous of how many comments there are saying to just buy a new bag, don’t waste your money on this, etc etc. like why make it so negative that people can restore their own bags. So what if it costs the same to just buy another bag but you don’t know why people would just rather restore the ones they have. Maybe it was a gift, maybe it’s a style that the brand no longer creates, maybe they don’t want to spend money on another bag when the one they have can be easily repaired, or maybe it’s because it’s a VINTAGE item that most people enjoy to find and collect, and it’s a nostalgic item from its time. Like just enjoy the video instead expressing hate towards it. Let people do as they wish with their time and money.

maybe you've found this reply already, but the channel answered this question, and i'll just copy paste cause it's very interesting: "Our skilled team go through a strict training process with training lasting 3 years. Colour matching is a key part of this training, in the event a colour is ever very tricky to match, such as a neon we have a Spectrophotometer which analyses the colour digitally and then creates the perfect pigment. Luckily our team are so highly skilled this only needs to be used on a rare occasion."

would anyone else almost prefer to have the bag when it was all tattered and messed up? don't get me wrong, this is so impressive, but the idea of a worn out vintage bag is so cool to me-

I was quoted $240 last year to refresh my purse. It's about the same size as the one filmed in the video but made of a smooth leather. The biggest issue was discoloration on the back from rubbing up against the clothes on my body. Oh, I live in NYC.

Would the painted finish actually be durable and last? Or would it crack and fade quickly?
@AlfoncinaMatilda4 жыл бұрын
Paint adheres to leather quite easily. I don't think it would crack. I am not sure about the corners where the filler was used.

I have to say, I'm often dismayed by bags described as "gently used" on the resale market. As in _gently used whilst running with the bulls!_ I'm not obsessive with my bags but I do look after them. I have vintage bags that look new, I honestly don't know the kind of abuse and disregard you put a bag through to completely wear away the corners, it's sad really.
@Modelqaibottle4 жыл бұрын
Joe Castiglione right? I have a cheap leather bag that looks way better than that expensive Chanel bag. Some of my partners LV bags bought over 7 years ago still look brand new.
@Modelqaibottle4 жыл бұрын
Adriel I agree with you. Why spend that much money just to pretty much drag the bag on the dirt. People who say “lightly used” must think “roughly used” is using the bag as brake pads.
@adriel75404 жыл бұрын
@@Modelqaibottle I just don't understand it either, you can use a bag regularly without treating it poorly. But each to his/her own. People use their bags as they wish, my preferences are not everyone's, I accept that.
