Restoring an Antique Bed Frame ✨

Jameson’s room makeover is underway! It was love at first sight when I found this antique bedframe on Marketplace last year. I stowed it away knowing we had some time before we’d be transitioning him from a crib to a “big boy” bed… but that time has come. 😭
I honestly didn’t realize how much this thing needed a facelift until I started applying the polish! I used Restor-a-finish applied with a super fine steel wool pad grit #0000 then finished with their conditioning wax! The process is truly like magic before your eyes!! ✨

Not GOOD to bring home anything that has been Use in the past by another Or someone who has passed on YOU CAN BRING HOME UNWANTED SPIRITS... STAY AWAY FROM USED PRODUCTS, THRIFT STORE ITEMS, YARD SALE AND ANTIQUE STORE ITEMS Most of the items their are from people who have passed on and family member donate their personal items to those stores Just keeping it REAL they can be beautiful, unique But not safe to take That Chance.... I know !!! I had to get rid of items I brought home from their I kept getting uneasy feeling that I was being watched As soon as I REMOVED those items IT STOPPED

That looks like an expensive heirloom! Beautiful job! I refinished a chair and table many years ago. It’s amazing how relaxing it can be. The feeling when you turn someone old into a new treasure is beyond words.

For anyone wondering, restor-a-finish basically dissolves the finish and quickly evaporates again leaving the finish more even overall.
